Holiday Wrap up

So I'm a little late on the whole holiday wrap up thing. But hey, I have pics I want to show, so why not do it almost two weeks after Christmas?

Stepson came out for Christmas and we had a great time! He and Camden had so much fun together. Although there is a 13 year age difference, Camden worships his older brother and Kolby is so good with Camden. Although Camden didn't quite get into the whole present thing this year, he had a much better response than last year (where he looked confused in all his pictures).

Cam's stack o presents before opening.

Cam headed straight for his new kitchen. (So he got a kitchen for Christmas and he's a boy. It's up to me to train him for his future wife - better start young.)

Opening his present from stepbrother.

With his stack o presents after opening.

And one last picture. Even though it's blurry and you don't see any faces, I love that two brothers are playing together in spite the big range in ages. They were building together and Cam was imitating everything Kolby did (and yes Kolby kept him from putting pieces in his mouth).

For the New Year, I spent the day with the flu. Fun! But resolutions have been made and the D. family is on track for a (hopefully) good new year!
I'm back on track and hope to be checking out your blogs soon!

I found your blog through a link from another blog....I have a Camden also :o) Enjoy him....my Cam is the sweetest of all my kids :o) Like yours, he was also the result years of fertility treatment. The easiest way to cure fertility is to become pregnant though. I became pregnant very easily after FINALLY becoming pregnant!

Okay yes yes yes, I love that he got a kitchen. It was the first thing I noticed, and I thought that when HE grows up, he'll be a man worth knowing!

I LOVE the kitchen! Who says boys shouldn't enjoy the culinary and home economical arts???
Happy New Year to you, too. :)

Whoa, he is getting big! I love the big brother photo also. My brother was 9 years older and I always thought I was a pest to him. I worry about the 10 year gap between my youngest and oldest. Posts like these encourage me that it can work. So sweet!

What is it with that flu, darn it? I've lost count of how many people who had stomach bugs over New Year's. I hope you and your family are all healthy again and stay that way!

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog. After what you've been through recently, it couldn't have been easy to read. You are such a dear, sweet person. I wish you much happiness in the New Year!

I love the Christmas blog! Camden sure is a cute kid!! And I can't wait to get a kitchen set for my little one, if she were a boy, I'd probably get one for him too, cause I loved ours growing up! I'm glad Christmas was a good one for you :)

These are terrific pictures. You really sound good. I am so happy that the holidays were filled with brotherly love. In my kinder class the boys love the kitchen center. I think it is fantastic that you got Cam a kitchen! Happy New Years!
