Randomosity

My life is boring. Really. Yeah, that's why I haven't said much this week.

Today is a bunch of random thoughts shamelessly telling you how wonderful I am. Or other random things.

1. I'm doing what I call "The Toddler Diet" in addition to WW. I eat the same things Camden eats. Just like I
obsessively have Camden eat a fruit and veggie with each meal (except no veggie for breakfast), I am doing the same thing. It helps me to feel full and I like it. I've also gone walking the past three nights. I'm feeling really good these days. *Pat myself on the back*

2. I TURNED DOWN A DONUT! I did! Somebody came to my classroom offering me a donut earlier this morning and I said no. I am so impressed with myself right now.

3. My husband is wonderful. The man puts up with me and loves me in spite of all my many flaws. He writes
posts like this that make me feel good. I got lucky when I got him.

4. Blogging buddies - what would you think about doing some sort of "About Me" topic each week where we write autobiographical stuff about ourselves? Like the story of how we met dh, or a topic of something from childhood, or something like that. I'd love to learn more about you and "the story of your life" in your blogs. If you are interested, let me know. If not, I may just do it on my own.

5. I used a lot of quotations in this post. Just "for fun."

What a very sweet husband you have to write such wonderful things about you! I don't know about the "About Me" thing. I'm still new to blogging and feeling a bit shy still about sharing the personal stuff. Eventually I want to get there though, and I would love to read yours!

I like the "about me" weekly topic, count me in!

I like the "About Me" idea. Sounds like fun!

Did the donut have sprikles and white frosting?? If it did I am SO impressed!

"About Me" sounds fun. Let me know.

I read your hubby's blog the other day and was SOOOOO jealous that he wrote those kind of sweet things about you. Can your husband teach lessons to other husbands??
I LOVE the "About Me" thing...let me know how you want to go about doing it....I'm actually trying to do it anyway, but some days I have brain-farts and can't think of anything to write or rememberize about! :D

You have a good man. We all dream of the day that our husbands shout about how much they love us from the rooftops. I think the Internet reaches far more people.

I LOVE the "About Me" topics idea...count me in as well!

#4 great idea!!
I am all about writing about fun stuff in the past! The present is pretty uneventful. Hence the nada mucho on my bloggy this week either.

Yay for the diet and turning down a donut...that is such a hard thing to do!
Count me in on the "About Me" posts, but I must worn you that I have a horrible memory, so if we dig too far into the past, I may have a blank page for that day :-) Will we all have the same topic each week or just write about whatever we want?...I vote you pick a topic and let us know in advance so we have time to think about it...it's all about my memory fog!

You have a wonderful hubby! Good job on turning down the donut. Not me. I had a candy bar today. It was good. I have not regrets. Good for the walking. Just keep plugging along. I think #4 sounds like a great idea because I have not posted in over a week because I am coming up blank.

1. I think I should start doing the Toddler Diet too. I have a major problem with eating WAY too much of the main course and not nearly enough veggies. Points scored for me today though because I made a big green salad to go with dinner. Dinner was full fat hot dogs on the grill, but still.

2. I am impressed with the turning down of the donut. A lesser woman (me) would have crumbled under such conditions.

3. I will check out your dh's blog. I haven't been there for a while! No offence to him, I've been extremely busy and feel awful that I haven't been to YOUR blog in a WEEK!

4. Love the idea of a topic every week. Sounds fun! Who is going to choose what? You could pick a topic this week and put a topic for people to blog about NEXT week, then have people blog the topic you chose for this week. Does that even make SENSE? I'm just saying that at the end of each "autobiographical" blog you could write what we should write for the NEXT week.

I know. It doesnt' make sense to me either.

I'll totally do the Blogging Buddies thing with you - BTW, I'm not ignoring your tag of the six weird things - I just can't think of anything, and I've been too busy packing to ask DH!!

I loved your randomness blog. And WTG on turning down the donut, I am trying to be good too. I turned down icecream this weekend, but caved on the carrot cake. Dang it!

What a sweet post your husband wrote! I love the "about me" idea - and congrats to saying no to the donut!

I need to try the Toddler Diet! I feed my children so well, then forget to feed myself until I'm so starved I eat anything. Ugh!

I love the "about me" idea - that's really a great idea!

You have a great husband. Wish I could get my husband to blog (especially great things about me). Kudos for passing up the donut . . you are a better woman than me. "About Me" sounds like a great idea. Count me in.

Wow, you turned down a donut?!?! Get outa town! For me, that's a very big deal. As a French teacher, I find that not a week goes by where a student doesn't offer me some sort of a treat. And oftentimes, it is too tempting to say, "No, thanks." So good for you! *Pats you on the back.*

About your "About Me" idea, I like it. I really like it!

The "Toddler diet" sounds like a good idea! I recently started exercising again and it leaves you feeling great. I had stopped exercising and gained a lot of weight after I got married. In the past 2 months I have only lost a few pounds, but a lot of inchage!
