I read in one of my baby magazines today that the average parent loses 700 hours of sleep in the first year of a child's life. That's 58 hours a month or almost 2 hours a night. Wow. I knew I was sleeping less, but didn't realize it could be that much.
So, question of the day - How many of you are feeling that sleep loss today?
Luckily enough, today I am not. Camden slept through for the first time in a week. Yay!

*raising hand* ME! Oh! Me!!! I am definitely feeling sleep loss. And I think I am missing more than 700 hours, darn kid. Last night he screamed for an HOUR because I did not promptly place boob in mouth as requested. If he can go 3 hours between feedings during the day I am positive he does not need to eat every 1.5 hours at night. Crazy kid.
Congratulations! But I'm sure feeling it. My baby sleeps well as long as she's in my bed. But that means I don't sleep well.
I am not feeling it today. I am feeling the results of ignoring the fact that I am going to lose sleep these days. I slept. My kids dumped out cheerios. I am well rested in a messy house. Tomorrow I hope I am tired.
Hey! I read that same Article. Thank heaven for the time they sleep through the night. I find I don't need an afternoon nap!
I'm sooooooooooo tired!!!
